I love the JJ pickup. He should really help ease the strain on the starters off the bench for the time being. I've continually said that Smush is playing too many minutes. With Laron, he AND Kobe could have rested more and played fresher in both the THIRD and fourth quarters. JJ is better than Laron in every aspect. Thanks, Phoenix! I think we got the better of the pseudo-trade of waived players with Phoenix now.

NOOOOOOW, JJ also gives us a veteran all-around presence in the backcourt with Kobe - TIME TO CUT AARON MCKIE AND SIGN FREDDIE HOIBERG???

He's getting paid by Minny and can't sign with them this season. He's said that he's ready to play and wants to play THIS season. He dropped nearly 49% of his treys (and 2-ptrs too) last season. He plays smart and hard every minute he's on the floor. He and Ronny T can be our Cardiac Twins.

DO IT MITCH!

I read that he was ready to go for this season.

UPDATE:
Looks like he's only interested in playing for a contender.

Any spinmasters think they can convince him that we WILL BE contenders WITH him??[/url]

Contender wagoners. Add him to the list along with Finley, Tim Thomas, Alonzo Mourning, etc. I don't think we need him anyways. We already have a lot of guards, what we need is a defensive PG or another solid big man and Fred, apparently, possesses neither.

i think san antonio will loose this year, this the law of Jockstraping a contender, or know as bandwagoning. They have Van Exel and Finely, your only allowed one ...same mistake we made, should told GArrry thanks but no thanks
