I understood that part. My point was that it's unreasonable to determine based on one 3/9 shooting performance that those who were clammering were wrong (I wasn't one of them); just as an 8/9 debut outing wouldn't have validated their opinions. |

talk about a knee-jerk reaction. What's Sasha's shooting percentage in his second year + wide open looks?
34% you say?
I thought Sasha was supposed to be better than Smush?
Wafer will easily outclass Sasha when he gets experience. He's raw right now but has great athleticism and is known for his 3 point shot, even has some combo guard skills. He lit up Dahntay Jones and Andre Emmett for ridiculous numbers back-to-back nights in the SPL. 6-6 from 3, 18-24, avg 25.5 points in those two games vs. athletic players with full college experience. |

I didn't even notice Wafer had been sent to the D-league? It wasn't announced on CNN. |

It takes a while to get the shooting rhythm back. He's been sitting on the bench for a long time. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

In hindsight Mitch should have drafted Monta Ellis. Mitch is working hard though. |

Wafer thinks shoot first, second, and third. The few times I saw him play this year in the triangle, it looked like Slava, just catching and without even thinking - just fires up another shot. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. This thread deserves to be bumped, if for no other reason than it shows how people think they can serve a team or player a life sentence based on one performance. |

Me three.
I haven't posted much since I started realizing the futility of making broad summaries and predictions based on what I just saw the other night. Gosh, it must be even harder for the naysayers to comment on a stat line when they did not see the game. Oh well, live and learn.
Having watched Wafer perform in every SPL game this summer I am still optimistic and will be patient. I still believe in him as an eventual contributor to the P&G. |

Wafer was 3-13 for a total of 7 points in his last game. Missed his free throws too. _________________ Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. |
