Devean's presence not being out on the court, was finally witnessed today. With George we could latch him to guys like Rashard and Ray Ray. Giving Kobe some minutes off of trying to fight through screens and picks chasing Ray Ray around. Also with George available we could've matched up easier in the first half by going with a smaller lineup - Smush / Kobe / George / Lamar / Kwame or Mihm. The lineup of Mihm and Kwame on the court together killed us in the 1st half as both were late on recovering in transition defense.
Hope Devean heals that wrist well and comes back soon. We need him out there. |

DG is a defensive presence. Hopefully, he will come back soon. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

We gave up a lot of offensive rebounds that we probably would've had if George was out there, darnit. |

We need to remove Cook from the starting lineup. He's the only guy that has neither the potential to play D nor has the mentality to make shots under pressure. |

Yeah, George has become a pretty well-rounded, 3-way player. Luke has stepped up in his absence, but he's just a horrible defender. George would've been the perfect defensive matchup for Rashard. |

If anyting Mihm's injury means Kwame will move to playing center. Cook will get more minutes. Ronny Turiaf will also get a chance to play. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

Absolutely agree. We could've rotated George in, moved Lamar down the low post and that would've helped clean the glass. I think Lamar ended up with 3 rebounds or so because he was mainly on the perimeter trying to stay with Rashard. |

Actually, looking at the boxscore now, we were dead even on rebounds, and we actually destroyed them on the offensive glass... 17-8 our advantage. I guess it was just the timely put backs that I remember them getting. |

The guy does bring a lot of hustle to the game. If we Devean is gone and Phil wants to ignore Rony, where is our energy going to come from? |
