Hey all,

I updated the HOOPSWORLD NBA Free Agent pages for 2014-18. Here’s the complete set:

http://www.hoopsworld.com/2012-nba-free-agents/
http://www.hoopsworld.com/2013-nba-free-agents/
http://www.hoopsworld.com/2014-nba-free-agents/
http://www.hoopsworld.com/2015-nba-free-agents/
http://www.hoopsworld.com/2016-nba-free-agents/
http://www.hoopsworld.com/2017-nba-free-agents/
http://www.hoopsworld.com/2018-nba-free-agents/

The last one is pretty simple – just one guy.

Also, my NBA Chat is going live at 1:00pm Pacific

http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-chat-with-eric-pincus-9412/

Finally, the Clippers promote Gary Sacks to Vice President of Basketball Operations – their GM-level position.

Here are my thoughts on Sulia

http://t.co/O5tvCmWZ

Thanks

Eric

2014: Ramon Sessions

Emplay, would it be possible to put the player's projected age in the chart? Otherwise, people will think in 2016 we can get DWade who will be like 35 then (OK I have no idea how old he'll be).

i don't have that readily available - other than going through in what would be a tedious process - but i'll take it under consideration for future versions

With all this cap space we're gonna have, things should get interesting after the 2014 season.

It'll be interesting to see in 2014 if the team "sits out" on season to cash in on 2015 (assuming Lebron and the other top tier players stay with their teams).

Probably not with an aging Kobe/Nash, and a Dwight entering his prime.

Go after Aldridge in '15 and Rondo
Aldridge is the perfect PF to pair with Howard
resign Pau and Kobe for cheap

I don't see Pau or Kobe signing for all that cheap. Pau will still probably be in the $10 million range unless his game falls off the cliff

Yeah, if that's the case and say that Kobe/Pau take up $25m, then you add $20m for Dwight, and $8m for Nash. You're knocking at the door of the salary cap all over again. Pau/Kobe duo stays only if they combine for something like $15m, which is neigh impossible. So probably only Kobe remains.

Ben Golliver:

Terry Stotts used 286 words to answer whether LaMarcus Aldridge (free agent in 2015) was on board with rebuild. None of the words was "yes"

Dwight and LMA. Only if LMA's heart conditions don't re-surface...

Rondo will be 30 something and Kyrie is so unrealistic that Mitch might actually do it.

Sign Kobe and Pau to smaller, but solid, one year contracts in 2014. Then, in 2015, go for Kevin Love and another star. If Kobe and Pau want to continue to play after that, they can take another reduction in pay.

Ask Dallas (and Dirk) how that plan works.

Don't sign anyone past '14. Keep Kobe (10 mill) and Gasol (8 mil) for cheap. Projected Cap of $58.5 mill, we can offer to near max deals. Let Gasol go and we can.

Lebron, Melo, and Kobe? Don't really want Lebron...
I'd like Rondo and Love.

2014:

Lebron
Melo

2015:

Rondo
Love
Aldridge
