We'll see about that.

See about what? If he makes the team or if he's better?

Both he has to prove it to Lakers management for him to make the team.

Thanks guys for defending me while I was away (especially you 12). It means a lot you realize I don't start threads for no reason....and his saying "In before the lock" meant he thought it should be locked.

Glad others don't agree.

CDR has dropped 30 pts twice in the pros. Not sure if Ebanks could do that in the D-league.

WORD

The point is Ebanks has a roster spot while CDR doesn't.

So what Ebanks still gets first crack at backup SF. So CDR needs to get in line same thing goes for Clark.

Just is he better enough to make this team I mean he's going to be fighting for playing time as well.

Getting first crack at our WEAKEST position is nothing to brag about. Ebanks doesn't have one thing about him stand out. I can't even say he has a strength lol

Is Ebanks your cousin or something? Getting a little defensive there.

Look I'm trying not to lose my temper here and get suspended again. Sometimes I do get testy about things that's because I have some demons I have to workout. I was going through the realistic approach about what's going on here. I was just saying that CDR has to prove to Laker management on why they should keep him after camp. I mean you say he's better then settle it on the court.

Well youth is a strength because Metta is is getting little long in the tooth, and we need plenty of it.

Hey I'm trying to take the realistic approach here. I mean this why I get very ticked off here because you people will never understand me. Thus why there are some days that I really can't stand anyone here.

CDR does have better offensive game than Ebanks, including a funky but somewhat reliable mid range shot. (I live in NJ so I saw him a few years back).

Ebanks may have looked athletic going against Brokeback Walton and out of shape MWP in practice last season, but things are going to be different this camp with young, athletic guys like Clark and CDR around and an in-shape MWP. He may have a roster spot, but it's not as if Ebanks was already a regular rotation player Brown trusted.

idc who is better (although cdr is obviously a proven pro) at the end of the day ebanks, metta and clark have been proven to be offensive liabilities. cdr is not. he brings what this lakers team has been lacking at the 3, a scoring threat. he gets to the basket. so along with meeks and jamison i would love this pickup.
nash
meeks
cdr
jamison
gasol

thats a bench

Like the Douglas-Roberts Johnson-Odom backups at guard. They're like playing against 4 guys.

I don't see a reliable back-up small forward on our roster. Sorry but I just don't trust Ebanks. Call me optimistic or even a dreamer but I'm excited about Douglas-Roberts. More than I am for Ebanks or Clark, anyways.

Nets and Bucks. Both his 30s came with the Bucks.

Thanks. I knew the name sounded familiar. He could be a steal.
