What would you do with this lineup? Who MUST stay? Who must go?

Jackie Butler C

Channing Frye F
Jerome James C
David Lee F
Stephon Marbury G
Quentin Richardson G-F

Needs to go:

IN:
Jackie Butler C
Jamal Crawford G - can play
Channing Frye F - would be rookie if the year if...
David Lee F
Quentin Richardson G-F - injuries had slowed him this season
Nate Robinson G (one more season at least)
Jalen Rose G-F (veteran, can be helpful)
Malik Rose F - same as JR
Qyntel Woods F-G

OUT:

Eddy Curry C-F : always injured, no boards, as waste of money and talent
Steve Francis G : S-hole
Jerome James C : a free agent bust.
Stephon Marbury G : do I need to say why?
Jalen Rose G-F
Maurice Taylor F - Big body, but useless

really all you can do is wait for those awful contracts to expire. since they've given up their future (giving up next year's draft pick) to chicago...i would:

-trade marbury for a couple of young players. (if you can)
-fire larry brown. try to coax hubie out of retirement?
-try to trade some of their massive contracts for young players and picks. (if you can).
-blow up their current roster and start from scratch. get rid of everyone except david lee and channing frye.

problem is...thomas has ruined their present AND their future. by giving away picks and assembling horrible contracts...the knicks can't be successful until those contracts expire.

Man, what a mess of soft overpaid players. Most of these guys should be moved, but it'd just be so hard to do it with their contracts.

IN:
Jamal Crawford - good talent, plays out of control, no D
Channing Frye - good guy, solid talent
Quentin Richardson - good guy, solid talent
Jackie Butler - cheap
Eddy Curry - Soft and will never play to expectation, but big body who can score in the post
David Lee - good upside role player, cheap
Nate Robinson - good sparkplug off the bench despite his attitude, cheap
Quyntel Woods - showed he could play this year, ten cent head

Out:
Steve Francis - massive contract, can't win
Stephon Marbury - see Francis
Jerome James - no comment necessary
Jalen Rose - cement block of a contract, not nearly equal to production
Malik Rose - no production
Maurice Taylor - no production

BTW, Jerome James admits he was out of shape and promisses to work out this summer.

How about giving back his pay?

Or quitting hoops and becoming a car parker?

Anyway, I am sure the fans are deeply thanful for this charity and are thrilled to think of him as starter next year.
