He could be a Laker in 3 years if D'Antoni is around, just saying.

Lin's contract will expire at the end of the 2014/15 and Nash will as well.

Nash will likely retire at that point and we all know the one PG who has exploded onto the scene under D'Antoni was Linsanity.

Factoring in the Asian community and their love for the Lakers, it makes a lot of sense in a few years.

Looking at the big picture.

no...dantoni understands he can fit about any real pg in his system and they will look great...

someone like brandon jennings or goran dragic would be much better. even a harden or westbrook would look great in mikes offense

No. He is terrible.
He can only go one way, has no D, is injury prone, average passer, and doesn't know when to stop shooting when he's cold.

Btw this should be in another forum.

The only one that is truly possible is Dragic. He has a player option for 2015/16.

Hearing so many "oooh" and "aaaah" whenever he'd make a routine pass or almost hit a shot was a little unnerving to me, honestly.

I, quite frankly, think people are relatively blinded by the truth of his game. His marketability is unquestionably serious, of course.

Maybe it's comparable to the initial splash of "White Chocolate" Jason Williams during the lockout shortened season. It eventually wore off of luster and he turned into a borderline starter.

To me, at best ... that's where Jeremy's talent-level is akin to.

Yes, Dragic will be 30 and Lin will be 28.

I was watching Dragic play against the Lakers on Friday and was in awe, the guy is so quick and shifty.

Deals will get worse and worse for Pau. Next year he'll be an expiring contract but still, will see low ball offers and declined play due to age/system.

I guarantee you Lin will have a Nash-like late blooming career. Not saying that he's going to be MVP and all but I think when he's 28-30, he's going to be an All-Star and deservingly so.

He has a lot skills that you can't teach - passing, steals, court vision. All he needs is a better jumpshot which he is very capable of developing.

Lin with a good jumpshot = 17ppg/9apg/4rebs/2steals.

People are hating on him now because the system he plays in limits him as a play maker and he's not 100%. But watch as he gets older and develops his game and jumpshot more.

Lets see. Morris shut him down, mwp knocked him, and Kobe gave him the death stare. Linsanity is over.
