ok, i've been a fan of lebron all season, and truly respect what he's been able to do, but right now I am simply beeped off at the media attention.
First he's all over Yahoo! NBA, and now NBA.com is writing stuff like
Quote: | t is that winner-take-all attitude that has made James the lethal force that he is. Jordan had it. Russell had it. And by all indications, James seems to have it, too. |
http://www.nba.com/aroundtheassociation/regular_season_review_7.html
and saying that he stole the show on ASW....
isn't anyone else starting to get annoyed at this? i mean him returning after a 1 game sprain is suddenly a cover story on yahoo |

I must admit, Lebron has won me over with his stellar play over the past 2 years, not to mention his good sportsmanship and relative humility. He seems like a good guy, and he never disrespects his opponent. He's definitely a top 5 player, even at such a young age. I would not have rated him that high at the beginning of the season.
Having said that, the relentless media fawning and adoration is incredibly annoying. I mean, gimme a frickin' break. Let the kid play a single playoff game before you hand him the keys to the NBA. I also have to admit that I loved watching the Pistons dismantle the Cavaliers the other day. Not only did it make for good TV, it left the announcers scrambling for an explanation for why the 'chosen one' couldn't pull a miracle out of his golden arse.
But he's still a lot of fun to watch. |

Yep. LeBron is the MVP playing in a conference where only 4 out of the 15 teams have a winning record.
That's dominance for you.
