I just glanced at the scoreboard and Orlando is leading San Antonio by 10 points with about 5 minutes left in the game.

Now there's a team facing long odds to get into the playoffs...but they're still fighting.

My hats off to those guys for not quitting.

same here, their playing really inspired ball ,right now..watch out for them next year and when they get that cap room..smart moves by them...their aiming high instead of wasting their time these next couple years getting bounced by the pistons like the other 14 teams in the east.

Then he's found the right home on the Knicks.

....and the magic win beating San Antonio at home

....and the Knicks lose to a LeBron-less Cavs.

The Magic have beat The Heat and The Spurs at the road and the Pistons at Home, that is a young team to look up for, especially with that cap space they getting.

Howard seems to have the character to be the true franchise player the Magic have been looking for.

If they pick up next year where they left off here, Howard looks to be an All Star.

AND they have space to make a big free agent pickup this summer? Looks good for them.

7 in a row including road wins against spurs and heat and home wins against pistons and mavericks would be good for any team... but for a sub-500 rebuilding team that traded away francis for cap space and lost grant hill to injury... crazy. They've also won 11 of 12 including wins over chicago and philadelphia... the two teams they have to pass to get to the playoffs... and their next two games are chicago and philadelphia again.

I think Darko has been a significant factor in their recent improvement... averaging 8 PPG 4.4 RPG and 2.2 BPG on %54 shooting in 21 minutes

Amazing thing is Darko and Howard are both 20 years old.

The Spurs - Orlando game reminded me that the Spurs aren't as invincible as the world wants to believe. LA will be just fine. The only thing that worries me about this team is inexperience. A true "champion" would have ran through a young squad like Orlando -- at home and this late in the season. They won't win it this year. Their best players are getting older. We are younger and not as consistent as them. That is the difference between us and the Spurs. We are close and will be fine.

I will be laughing my ass off when LA shakes up these playoffs.

I love Orlando in the next few years if they don't screw it up...Howard, Nelson, Darko as their core with cap flexibility...they'll be dangerous.

That is a nice lineup.

Have to see how Darko progresses, and I think they could upgrade on Turkoglu too.

Turkoglu's play is one of the main reasons for win streak.

Have to admit I hadn't watch them closely enough to pick up on that. Thanks.

Don't forget their lotto pick Fran Vasquez who was too scurred to play in the US. I don't know if he's any good though. They're going to be a really good team. Howard is going to pull a Kobe and single-handedly carry them to the playoffs next season.

Arroyo is playing OK and Jameer Nelson has come into his own.

Francis had a scoreless game in 20min last night

and it continues.....

Dwight Howard scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed a career-high 26 rebounds against Philadelphia.

Orlando is still fighting. They'd be more interesting to watch than a couple teams ahead of them.

Bobcats beat Indiana in OT. Orlando seems to want it the most. Could they stun everyone and make it? I wouldn't normally think so, but the teams in the bottom half of the Eastern playoff bracket are putting up some pretty uninspiring performances in the stretch run

Howard is a beast, his ability to rebound and overpower people, sumed with Nelson's abilty to score and pass will make em a great combo.

They played well the last few games without all the structure from the coach. Have a nice young core, too bad they wasted the 10th pick on Vasquez. Besides, they have Howard and Darko for the middle. They could've used a 2 or 3 like Gerald Green or Danny Granger
