Snoop Dogg To Star In And Produce Horror Flick

Snoop Dogg is stepping into the horror genre once again with his new film Hood of Horror, a collection of three scary stories set in the inner city.

Snoop will produce and star in the film, which will follow people whose actions in this life determine their fate in the next. Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Method Man, Jason Alexander and Billy Dee Williams also star in the movie.

"We are definitely looking at this film as a franchise property along the lines of 'Scary Movie,' We want to push the envelope combining humor and gore," said Christopher Tuffin, who co-produced along with Martin Shore, Ted Chung, Jonathan McHugh and Tim Sullivan.

Arclight Films recently acquired world rights to the film, which also includes anime sequences created by the Madhouse label, reports Variety.

In 2001, Snoop starred as a vengeful ghost in the thriller Bones.
