Dude finally is on a playoff team. He owes Artest big time. |

'Reef has played well as he has every year in the league. Glad he finally made the playoffs, but too bad for him they'll be out in the first round. |

Why do people act like Rahim is a bad luck charm? His previous teams played were the Hawks and Grizz! Not many players who have been through those org's the last decade or so, have been in the playoffs. This guy is one of the "good guys" of the game today. He's a sound forward, nice guy, and isn't one to attract attention. What's not to like? |

I like Abdur-Rahim. He was once a great forward and is still quite solid now. He just had some bad luck playing for lottery bound teams. He was a former allstar as well. I agree with vanex...what's not to like? 8) |

Never said I didn't like him or that he was a bad luck charm. I'm happy for the guy (unfortunately, however, he plays for the Kings). But if they didn't make the Artest deal, they probably don't make the playoffs and he would miss yet again. |

Yeah, I love SAR. I went to the same college as him while he was there and my girlfriend at the time was his RA . That one year he was with Cal was a great time for a school that except for the Jason Kidd years generally stunk at basketball.
He's a great example of how the team you land with can make or break your career. He's not a dominant number 1 option kind of guy, but too good to deserve to play for the garbage teams he has had to play for over the years. |
