That's cool.
I firmly believe that CD-R would have improved as a player with us and playing alongside Kobe Bryant. A lot of posters here say that about every wing player that comes here, but I always smh because you don't become better simply by playing with Kobe. You have to have a similar mindset/drive/competitive spirit as Kobe and not get discouraged when he challenges you. I think most people do not respond to that well like CD-R did.
I don't think Ebanks has the talent or mindset to improve significantly as a player. His ceiling is low. He has the potential to be a serviceable hustle role player, but that's it. And he might not even get there. |

ebanks has every opportunity to prove himself this season. he can't even get off the bench to play meaningful minutes. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. |

Ebanks hasn't been the same since he was arrested.
I, however, think that CDR has a great attitude and look forward to seeing his growth. He probably wouldn't have had the time to develop until MDA (Considering the fact that he's using that effort to develop Morris) but it would have been nice to keep him over somebody like Earl Clark. (He was in the game for one second and took a mid range jumper just to get his. Not a team player.)
The thing about CDR is that he reminds me a lot of another prospect we have, DJO. I also still look forward to seeing DJO sprout out and hope we keep him as a project for a while. |
