Spectacular game by the young kid in his playoff debut.
Thoughts anyone? |

Last I saw the game was over score wise and it was almost over clock wise and he had 8 boards he finished with 11 boards. Did he like just through up shots to try to get the offensive board at the end or something? Great game by Lebron never the less he is a beast. |

Not something you learn. You either have it or you don't. He can become average, nothing more. He has "stiff hips". Even when he TRIES to play defense, it looks atrocious. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Then, to do 'dat on 'da offensive end. It's like 'Damn, I can't score on him AND he about to bust my ass." |

No the balls flew out to him. He kept playing his same game, the triple double came to him.
I was impressed.
Granted Wizards played absolutely no D!! |

Defense is easily learn. Maybe he will never be a defensive stopper like Ron Artest or Bruce Bowen, but he will easily be able to become more than adequate defensively for the rest of his career.
Remember, defense is not about athletic agility (or ability for that matter) it is about knowing your team's defensive scheme, playing into it and keeping your mind on the subject at hand.

I wonder what the Wizards game plan is? Play zero defense and take lots of contested jump shots all the way to the finals? _________________ Mitch Kupchak is the best GM in the league!!

Very impressive. Especially for a 21-year-old playoff debutant. Gotta give him his props. |

They said during the game his teammates told him he was a rebound or two away from a triple double - so he stayed in. I don't blame him, I'd do the same if it was my first playoff game ever. |

LBJ is already a better defensive player than the overrated Wade, and Wade is much more quick. I think once James puts in the effort and learns the ropes, he will be a solid NBA defensive player. Not a stopper, mind you, but above average. |

He's going to need teammates who can hit wide open shots first. |
