Just a suggestion but would it be possible to add a delay to new registerees ability to post?

A week? Even a day? Seems a little annoying, but it would help cut down on people creating accounts that day to troll the forums.

Don't know if it's possible, but I like it.

It has been a while since I've registered and I don't remember the process, but do posters have to receive a link via email to complete the process? If there's a way to delay that email by 24 hours, that would be one way to do this.

I'm not sure if this is the best idea, because sure there are some trolls, but there's also the age-long lurkers that pop up every now and then with a great comment.
Perhaps increasing the minimum amount of posts required to start threads could work?

I like Larry Coon's idea of requiring 100 posts before a new user is allowed to post...
