Rest in peace, Dr. Buss. Growing up in the 80's was incredible thanks in large part to your Lakers. My Dad and I spent many a night watching Lakers games together on the tube. The Lakers are still one of our biggest connections.

GO LAKERS...

The passing of Dr. Buss doesn't even come close to the passing of LakersTalk.net. Your influence on our lives was much greater than Jerry's.

Buss can't come back, but LT.net can.

If only we had caught the Celtics in '08... but then again, I guess no man, no matter how great they are, dies without some unfinished business.

I have been crying off and on for days since he passed.

It's like I lost a family member.

Tomorrow watching the memorial will be so painful but also looking forward to seeing the outpouring of love and respect for him. I hope someone puts the full service up after as I want to have it forever. I wish I had Chick's!

Game 2 of that series was a black mark on the NBA.

Forever.

Basically, going to the finals every other season for 34 years will never come close to matched. Ridiculous.
