"Trade rumor: Ricky Davis as part of a Timberwolves package to the 76ers for Allen Iverson."

Think this trade might work? Minny trades Ricky Davis, Troy Hudson, Eddie Griffin, and sign and trade Marcus Banks for AI + a filler and/or pick. Minny gets AI, one of the best players in the league, and Philly gets a young scorer who can D up in Ricky Davis (26), a vet combo guard in Troy Hudson (30), a young defensive point guard in Marcus Banks (24), and a young power forward in Eddie Griffin (23). Minny could throw Jaric in there instead of Hudson. If you paired AI and Garnett together they would play hard all year long. Both are warriors and AI would take a lot of the load off from KG. That would be a great inside/outside threat from those two but their bench would be totally non-existent. Philly gets some young talent and more defense, which they lack. Plus, those players are tradeable down the line as well because they all have decent sized contracts. So what cha guys think?

I was always critical of Iverson and his 39-42 % FG. But for some reason he has won me over.

You can't say he has never had any help which most people try to bring up.

Larry Hughes, Chris Webber, Deke Mutombo (DPOY), Larry Brown (COY), Aaron McKie (6thMOY), Jerry Stackhouse to name a few. I just don't know why this guy can't get over the hump. It's obvious his style of play was only good to get him an MVP trophy, multiple scoring titles and only one win in the finals. The individual awards are good, but that ring looks good in El Segundo.

He and KG would be nice, but not enough, especially in the West.

Ricky Davis does not D up even though he has the physical ability.

Troy Hudson is done.

Eddie sucks. They have Iggy and Samuel already.

Marcus Banks is a good prospect.

Somehow I don't think that gets it done without some serious picks involved.

Ricky Davis?! Is this some kind of sick joke? Who would be stupid enough to trade their franchise player for Ricky Davis?
