You beat me to it. For the rest of the board, please, please, please none of the "Hey, let's get Adelman" or the "Artest said if Adelman leaves, then he leaves too, so let's get Artest" threads. _________________ Defense is my business, and business is good! |

Adelman is a good guy who backs his players. He has an almost unique ability to get along with problem guys (Webber, Bonzi, Artest). But he just coaches end of game situations badly. The Lakers had his number for years in close games. And, most recently, San Antonio tagged him and his team with that Barry three when all the kings (lower case) had to do was let a guy wander to the basket for a two.
Adelman is known as a guy who just rolls out the basketball for practice, most of the time. And his players love him because he does not demand a lot of them. But goodness, a team with Bibby, Miller, Artest, and Shareef (that's a lot of all-star appearances between them) should be able to do better than Sacto did. Look at what Jackson did with one confirmed all star (kobe) and one legit NBA starter (lamar). |

Makes me wonder who they get to replace him. Adelman is not a spectacular coach, but he's solid and did a pretty good job managing egos this year. I don't see many better coaches out there right now. |

, that would be a dream come true, that guarantee's sacto nothing for at least another 8 years, because after 4 years another coach will have too come in and clean up all the run and gun rubbish he installs.

actually bibby is a 0 time all star...ron artest is a 1 time all star and brad miller is a 3 time all star? But i get what your saying, their is alot of talent their, we all know what "mini me" is capable of every night. But next year, i thought they were going too be dangerous, but with this Don Nelson talk, their going down the crappers now. |

Remember how the blazers desintegrated chemistrywise as soon as he left?
A good player who could adapt the system to players, just not championship winning material... |
