There's already a third option masquerading as a second option on this team. There's no need for another one. |

No.
Lamar's game is far better suited for the tri. It would be a big step backwards. |

No way. Marion is too inconsistent, he can't create his own shots and I don't think he'll florish in the triange. LO grew up in the 2nd half of the season and given what we saw out of him, I definitely would not look to make that deal. |

I'd rather have LO. _________________ "You Must Be Willing To Give Up That Which Can Be Lost In Order To Gain That Which Cannot Be Lost." - FORTUNE COOKIE |

But how about Mihm & george for marion? | I'd do it, but PHX wouldn't. The pipe they're smoking at the moment runs along the lines of Marion and filler for KG...they're about as delusional as we are... _________________ Welcome to OverreactionGround.net, where a single possession can make you the savior of mankind or a total moron. -Ozendorph |

How about Mihm, George & Cook for Marion?
That actually wouldn't be a bad deal for them. George is plenty athletic, can fil the lanes on the break, defend on the perimeter, rebound, and hit the spot up three. Cook can hit the three. Mihm is athletic, has a refined post game, runs the pick and roll w/Kobe VERY well, and gives them another shotblocker on defense. It would also allow Amare to start at PF and work out of the high post - either drawing the defenders away from the bucket and allowing Mihm (an excellent offensive rebounder) to work the offensive glass. Puts Kurt Thomas on the bench, giving them more depth.
Now that I think about it, this would be a BRILLIANT move for Phoenix, and a stupid one for us. The Suns would get two starters and a bench player who would excel in their system, and we'd get an overrated, overpaid "All-Star" who excels in the garbage game with no one to create for him.
No way do I do this deal if I'm the Lakers. No way in HELL. _________________ "It’s like going to the Getty and standing in front of Van Gogh’s Irises while some schmuck next to you critiques individual brush strokes. Just shut up already. The more you talk, the more you embarrass yourself." |
