that room looks very clean. I would not be serving food to a bunch of drunk guys in a white room, even if I didn't have to clean it up. but that's just me.
is there a microwave in the room? or could you bring one in?
you could do a salsa bar (5 or 6 different types of salsa/guacamole/pico de gallo w/different kinds of tortilla chips)
cut up fruit, that's been soaking in alcohol (pineapple pieces w/coconut rum, watermelon w/vodka, strawberries w/champagne or rum)
sandwiches (roll up sandwiches, sliced -- I forget what they're called, pinwheels?)
???
just look at catering/appetizer menus from different restaurants or even grocery stores and see what will hold up temperature wise. _________________ "I define success by championships, by winning..." Kobe Bryant

"Water Pipe" (for smoking tobacco, of course).
Are the girls going to be regular chicks or "entertainers"?
And an Xbox360? Please....leave that mess at home...its ur b-day and you want to watch people play madden? Booo!
You're not going to have help with the lounge downstairs and roomservice is a total ripoff. Depending on where u are...get some delivery for something...a bunch of nachos and wings.....get plastic cups..... |

I've already spoken to the hotel manager and they know I'm throwing a birthday party in the room. They did say that they generally do not allow parties in their guest rooms, but mine is an exception (I had the hotel owner give their manager a call). They did say ask me to keep the noise down as much as I can, and keep the head count under 20 people. There are 2 other rooms on the same floor, I just hope they aren't occupied on that day, because I'm pretty worried about the noise myself. I don't want to get thrown out
As for food I agree that its best to stick with simple snacks. Warm food might create a big mess. I'll definetely create a self serve area for food and beer, but still need a "bar" section for mixing the drinks. |
