its a sensor you put into a pair of nike shoes that gives you on-screen as well as voice updates while you run telling you how many calories you've burned, distance you've ran, etc. all while playing your music. also, when you sync your ipod like normal it sends the data to a special nike website that you can visit to chart your progress, see if you're meeting your goals. the whole thing is $30 too so very affordable. only downside (and it leaves me out of the loop...though i think they'll change it) is that it only works on an ipod nano.

| For a 30GB ipod, is that 30GB for music plus some more space for videos? The reason I ask is that people always say 30GB PLUS VIDEO. Sorry, just a little confused. |

no its 30 GB for video and music files. The catch with it , is , its called the ipod with video capabilites, if you really check. The true video ipod is coming out next, supposed too be the first new upgrade since the scroll wheel was implimented. |

no the next gen ipods are going to be entirely touch screen. the wheel will show up when you touch the screen.

congrats JD on the purchase. i have enough dough right now to get either the IPOD video(30 gig) or the Creative Zen: Vision M(30 gig video/mp3 player)
from what ive read, here is the break down
Vision: M:
Supports about 10 more video formats than the IPOD(so you dont have to keep formating videos to get it into MPEG-4 format)
Has better sound quality
Supports 256,000 colors , while IPOD supports 64,000
Better quality vids(because of the color obviously)
Has more features like hiding video folders (  ) , having an am/fm radio and being able to record radio shows, and being able to record your own voice.
Ipod Video:
Looks better
Is easier to drag n drop songs via ITunes
anyone have any suggestions on which one I should buy?
