Yeah. Pau was laboring in the 2nd half. But he is a warrior and gutted it out. He made the two game winning clutch free throws and the game ending blocked shot. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Didn't know that. Props to Pau for stepping up. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Tanking is crap. Many teams like Raptors, Pelicans, Hawks, etc get high picks and yet they can't even reach finals. What is the last team that won a ring getting the first pick? I think in 20 years it is only the Spurs, and the odds of getting Wiggin is very very low. I agree with others if you are gonna talk about tanking do it in Wiggins thread. |

Yeah, two Lakers went all in that Korver was getting the pass and getting the shot. It paid off. If Korver had pumpfaked or passed, they'd still be playing. |

Lakers without Kobe, with a hobbled Nash, having to play 3 western finals contenders and a solid east playoff team in 6 days, and we're 2-2. I'm pleased with that. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

8 different Lakers made a 3 in the first half?
That has to be a NBA record, that is incredible. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

It IS one game.. and he's a career 51% shooter. But yes 5-18 is horrible haha. |
sideline reporters were tweeting that he had some respiratory issues - i'm guessing related to the URI he was reported to have last week - and that dantoni sat him for a while between the third and fourth because of how gassed he looked in the third. not excusing pau's play in the final three minutes or so, but his shots were definitely coming up short. in the end, it was an ugly, ugly end to the game but pau came up with two of the three game-winning plays (the last being hill's amazing board in traffic), so we'll have to at least give him props for stepping up when he really needed to. on to the next, and hopefully pau continues to round into game shape and for the love of pete, more dunks! or at least strong attacks to the rim. |
That explains why every one of his misses was short tonight, including his fts. Nice job on the boards, and on d tonight despite the awful shooting. |

It was incredible to watch the 1st half... the second half was tough to say the least. |

Come on Korver! |
Get tfo of here. |
Agreed.
So many pansy Laker fans we got in here hahahah
I would love to read some "quotes from our side " for this game haha
Too much pathetic Wiggins tank talk |
It's called intelligence and looking toward the future not praying for an eight seed and first round exit. |
word of wisdom and truth. i rather that than some worthless pride |
I don't know what's more tired. People incessantly posting "tank for Wiggins" or all the tired rationalizations of "intellect" and "realism" etc. OR the assumption that we would get a top pick anyway. Just get off the damn bandwagon already and let the rest of us enjoy our season. |
This^^^^
Reading all the posts wishing we lose all our games to "get Wiggins" is so annoying to read!! We have no chance to get Wiggins....wake up!!
Support your team that are playing their hearts out THIS SEASON". |
Yeah reading those post upset me and I get very annoyed. It pisses me off so called Laker fans will root for us to lose to potentially get in lottery to land Wiggins. It's not gonna happen move on and get over it already. I love the hustle, heart, chemistry of this team. I have way better vibe coming from this year Lakers team compared to cancer who left and who shall not be named.

I find it comical and downright hilarious some people think Wiggins will be maybe as good as MJ, Kobe, and Lebron were. Sorry to say but that will NEVER ever happen. The kid is great great talent but not that great. |

Well the Magic with Dwight and Cavs with LeBron both reached the NBA finals with their #1 picks. The Heat won two rings by poaching former #1 pick LeBron. Derrick Rose, Yao Ming, Blake Griffin, and Kyrie Irving all fundamentally changed their franchises with their #1 picks. Anthony Davis is looking more and more like a true beast. The book is still to be written about John Wall.
I think its fair to say the #1 pick is fairly monumental most years: this upcoming one is definitely one of them. _________________ ... I don't think that's Jack in those pictures ... |

That's really good actually.
I give D'Antoni some props so far. He built something with that group. |
