|
|
So anybody who has watched soccer has seen players go down like they've been shot by a sniper, after incidental/minor contact... writhing in pain like they've broken their legs *and* suffered a heart attack... only to come back good-as-new in a few minutes.
This seems to be happening a lot more in the NBA these days... I'd like to nominate the following players to the all-"ought to be playing soccer"-team (no offense to any soccer players here):
- Manu Ginobili (for obvious reasons)
- Dwyane Wade (he just inspired this post while watching him go down in a heap, only to jump right back up to cherry pick an and-1.)
- Shawn Marion (at one point against the Clips, he went down and dragged his leg behind him, crawling like an injured wildebeast on the serengeti... I was just waiting for someone to narrate lions eating him... he limped off, but was a-okay 2minutes later)
This isn't a flopper-team... just those players who seem to like to exagerrate their injuries to seem Willis Reed-like when they return. |

Wade is the worst. Manu and Raja are ridiculous floppers, but Wade seems to pretend to be hurt way more than anyone I've seen. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |

Cmon have u guys ever played sports. IF u did then u would know that when u get hit u could get a quick charlie horse or something like that, that is instant pain but not long lasting those are not rare. Im not saying all those guys arent acting cause i saw what raja did ( Jerk his face back when he thoughjt kobe was about to elbow him) but hey dont blame them for acting if they are really in pain. |

I'll say one thing about soccer refs compared to nba refs, is that soccer refs are not afraid to penalize their superstars. Nba refs are jokes. |
