Well I was reading about Fur and they said that those ugly rats are one of the few mammals without any. |

once i got passed the horror of its looks. i read this...
The skin of naked mole rats lacks a key neurotransmitter called Substance P that is responsible in mammals for sending pain signals to the central nervous system. Therefore, when naked mole rats are cut, scraped or burned, they feel no pain. When injected with Substance P, however, the pain signalling works as it does in other mammals.
So you're tellin me that its not only a crazy looking monster rat. but it doesn't feel pain? wow. I hope i never see one of these puppies in real life. Imagine hitting it with something and it keeps coming. |

Look at the photo, there's obviously hair on this animal. The follicles are just spaced out like they are on cetaceans. Are there any mammals that truly lack any hair?
