Board mods,
I don't care too much (well I guess I do since I'm posting here) but is there any reason why you choose not to merge the countless "Commentator X > Commentator Y" posts together. Seems like we get a bunch of these during the offseason, and now quite a few during the season as well.

As examples.

Good news is most end in in a hat tip to Chick, but outside of that, they end up just feeling like noise in an otherwise pretty organized forum.

My guess is in this particular case, the last post in the first thread was around a week and a half before the next thread was started, so it either wasn't on the first page or wasn't very noticeable if it was.

Generally, we will merge threads like that.

FWIW, the threads that have a last post of 10 days ago (similar to the time between the last and first posts of the 2 you posted) are 4-5 pages back. We simply don't look that far for threads to merge.

Thanks for clarifying. It's just one of those common themes that comes up every few weeks where it gets frustrating, but understand where you come from with the review. Appreciate it.
