I somewhat understand the (Ted Stepien Rule) non able to trade future consecutive drafts, but can the Lakers trade a draft pick about to happen on draft night with let's say the Cavs for Irving or 2015 draft and Irving?
Also, I'm not too high on Melo but that might not be a bad combo.
Kyrie
Kobe
Melo
Jordan Hill
need center or resign Pau for a good deal. Wait for 2015 to sign Love

I think they need to make the pick first, then they can trade that player. But they can trade him immediately.
On a related note ... where's Ted Stepien now that the Lakers really need him? |

Even if they had him, he'd probably get injured and be in the IR all season... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |
