Don't count your duck eggs until they're hatched! |
They're hot and theyre at home against a struggling team that's missing two of their top players, plus it's a very favorable referee crew. This one is in the bag. |
Samething Portland said last night! | |

byron's half right. the baze corner 3 was fine. the farmar pull up was stunted. he wasn't even open. |

THIS TEAM IS BUILT FOR SPEED. IF THEY PLAYED DEFENSE AS WIDE-OPEN AS THEY PLAY OFFENSE THIS COULD BE A HALF-WAY DECENT TEAM. |

If the team didnt try to force feed freaking Pau Gasol in the post, we'd be a much better team. This is not Pau of 2008! He's good for PNR points and points off rebounds.
Baze and Farmar were trying to feed Gasol too much in the first half and created too much of a hurdle for us to leap. 2nd half when our perimeter guys got aggressive, we came back in the game.
Check out Pau's first half and second half splits and then look at the score difference. |

Mike Trudell @LakersReporter
D'Antoni said that Farmar may start on Thursday. Since Farmar's been finishing games, makes more sense to get rest at end of 3rd/early 4th.
D'Antoni said he's impressed with Kent Bazemore: "He's playing well for us. He does a lot of things offensively and defensively."
Asked @KentBazemore20 what he's learned about his game since the trade. "The biggest thing I've learned is that I belong." _________________ Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's learning how to dance in the rain.... |

Probably won't happen, but I would like to see how Xavier would blend in the starting line up alongside Marshall. |

Was it really that small ball didnt work?
Or that our guys looked lethargic in the first half?
By the way, here's our NON-small lineup that lost to NO in November.

So I dont think it's the "small" ball that's the issue. |
