Nah. You'd have to overpay for him, and he's in the absolute perfect situation in Indiana, who knows how he'll be anywhere else. |

We need to get this guy. He'd be a steal for us even at like 15m a year. Young and breaking out now. I don't think Indy could afford that. |

Again lance is a nice player. But he is the beneficiary of having George, hibbert and David west. He is the 3rd maybe even 4th option and focus on defense. I honestly don't know how well or poorly he'd play as the #2 option. Not willing to give him the max but certainly he's worth looking into for the right price. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Yup. A very good player. But here he would have to be #2 and likely no bigs like hibbert and west. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Would love to target and acquire Lance but I didn't realize some here were thinking max money. No way. A good chunk but no way for the max. |

LOL...15 million a year is more than what Rondo and Westbrook get paid. It's how much Lebron and Durant made in the first year of their contracts.
The most I would give Lance is 3 years, $24 million which is the same contract Mayo received over the summer. I think Lakers could probably get him for less because it is Los Angeles.
If Lakers make a run at him, I think a fair deal is 3 years, $21 million with the 3rd year being a player option. This way he can build his brand in LA for 2 years at a reasonable price and test free agency again if he continues to develop. |

I think the LA market will be really appealing to him. I see him being offered around $8-10m a year range in line with tyreke Evans level money. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I've been watching him, he's fools gold. Way too inconsistent and not very good playing without the ball, his attitude his a concern, as well as his jumper. You don't overpay a guy like that, it's a bit tempting i know, but you just gotta fold on this one. |

I think he would be the perfect PG for Phil and the triangle.
If we can get him and Melo this summer along with drafting Embiid. Phil would have no choice but to come back haha
Stephenson - Kobe - Melo - Gasol - Embiid
Farmar - Henry - Young - Kelly - Sacre
We have it all !!! |

Huh? How are you going to sign Melo, Lance AND Gasol? assuming Melo takes at least $20m and nash is waived + stretched, that's $47m. Add Gasol at least $10m, and you have less than $4-6m to offer Lance (let alone keep that bench)> _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

For me a GOOD PROJECT starts with a GOOD COACH...
I dont know WHY LA signed D'Antoni to a three-year contract. I dont understand... This is the same fail as Steve Nash contract... Why they have to do it...
D´ANTONI WAS FIRED FROM NEW YORK AND HE ONLY HAS AN IDEA OF BASKETBALL THAT HE CANT GET WITH THIS ROSTER... and nowadays maybe with no team that wants to win a championship... YOU NEED TO DEFEND!!
For me the solution is: LIONEL HOLLINS
And i dont know why but i feel very sure about it...
Maybe LA can sign any defense player too.. Sefolosha or any other...
With this coach LA is going to PLAY AS A TEAM and to have a better DEFENSE SYSTEM.
He is a great motivational man who is able to manage perfectly this roster.
THAT WOULD BE THE BEGINING |

Forget Lionel Hollins, let's go for K-Love and Rick Adelman. |

Giggity giggity.
Pacers won't be able to keep him. He's ours for the taking. And mark my words, he'll be a big piece of the Lakers rebuilding project going into the future. _________________ Not a legend |

I figured it out... the way to sign Lance is to sign him 4 years... and balloon the hell out of the 4th year... like max in that final year. That way the Lakers could sign him for the first 3... at a number likely in the 6-8 million dollar range... then when the 2016 window is finally closed... it would balloon to a point that wouldn't matter because the Lakers would be maxed anyways.
No way the Pacers could pick that up. _________________ How can I get a copy of a Laker game played on Sunday, March 11, 2001 Sonics/Lakers? If you know PM me please
I would be willing to pay you for it. |

They would be limited to max 4.5% raises annually. But along your line of thinking, they could offer him a salary of $10 mil for next season for 4 years with 4.5% decreases each season and an opt out after year 3. That makes it tougher for Indy to match next season if they are concerned with the luxury tax. He would be guaranteed a little over $9 mil annually on average. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Lakers can turn on Morey on him and if nobody else is coming give him 15mil next yr and reduce it the next couple of years. Sign Pau on the cheap and draft embiid
Embiid
Pau
Ariza
kobe
Stephenson
thats a good team |
