King of all flops, a 2-for-1 deal from Lebron. There might be a video of it, but it was already confiscated by NBA

Im not entirely sure Kevin's was a flop. He does get a little fancy with it, but I think it is from him being off balance - he was trying to lean into the defender at the same time as falling away, so it looked weird.

It's the feigned contact at the top of his jump. Look at how he snaps his head and neck backwards. Pure gold. I agree that the fall would not have been a flop by itself.

I am going to have to disagree with this. I saw no head snap (which is the tell tale sign of a flop). At all times he keeps his head toward the basket and eyes on the shot. A true flopper will look around. Martin instantly gets up, he does not pause after he falls - not one iota of a pause.

So, without the head snap, without the look around, without the pause - I have to veto this one.
David Stern , is that you?

Pfft. That's not the king of all flops. There was actually some contact on that one. You need to raise your standards.

Try this, from the world of soccer:

Mario Chalmers: A-

Excellent piece of work. You need the second angle to see that it's a flop. He doesn't oversell it by crashing to the floor. And he got the call.

P.J. Tucker: A

You can barely see the play (it's at the bottom of the screen near half court). It's not that artful, but he got the call against Lebron. That's an A in my book.

And all this time I thought the flop was from the Suns player in the beginning of the video, but then I remembered, P. J. Tucker isn't white.

Ian Mahinmi: C

Fairly blah, and he didn't get the call.

C.J. Watson: A-

Now that's the way you do it. It's like he got hit by a wrecking ball. He gets the call, too. Yep, the Pacers are keeping up with the Heat.

These videos are better than the normal nba highlights, a reel of them together would be great.

D.J. Augustin: A

I love the wince from the feigned contact, and I love the commitment to hit the floor. But going into the photographers . . . that's how you do it, baby.

Kind of lame, but he did get the call.

Anybody ever wonder why Nick Young (Shaggy P) gets so many 4 point opportunities? He's a great flopper. I'm a Laker die hard, love me some Shaggy P but da boi can sell fouls, he can flop wid da best of um. LINK

Rajon Rondo: C

It fools no one and besides, it's Rondo.

http://www.nba.com/video/channels/originals/2014/04/10/bbops-rajon-rondo-flop-040914-pr.nba/index.html

Kyle Lowry: B-

Basically the same as Rondo's, but it's not Rondo.

Now here is a fine piece of work. Look at the head snap. Look at him grab his face. And he gets the call. A million European soccer fans are ready to sign him up.

James Harden is an elite flopper. I don't think its fair to put him on the same list with all these other scrubs. John Wall couldn't flop with Harden if his life depended on it. Harden is probably one of the greatest floppers our game has ever seen.

I'd bet money on the defending 3-Peat Flop Champion, CP3.

Yeah, Ginobili has one foot in the grave. The crown is up for grabs.

Ginobili is a totally overrated flopper. A lot of his spills are actually real falls. He's not even in Harden's league. I think it's between Harden and CP3, although CP3 has fallen off since his heyday in New Orleans (the whirly-bird flop is probably still the greatest of all time).

So, whatever happened to the league fining players for flopping?

Obviously the league's new policy cured the problem.

I can totally tell from watching Harden's whiplash display for 7 games straight.

It seemed like the number of flop warnings declined after Silver took over. I wonder whether there is a correlation, or whether that was just a coincidence.

Will CP3 prevail in the Game of Flop Thrones? I think so.
