Music doesn't move me to tears.

But videos + music certainly do (but not that one, haha).

Music doesn't move me to tears, but ANY article about Serge Ibaka always brings me to tears ...

There are probably many songs that move me and have the power to bring me to tears. One representation, as with most of us, will be with lyrics that move me such as this:

(He Stopped Loving Her Today)

Another type of song is more indirect, because it so reminds me of a time past, and a time of great joy and discovery:

(Early Morning Rain by Peter Paul and Mary)

Hoobastank - The Reason
Hootie - Only Wanna Be With You
Creed - Higher

I will have these three songs on repeat at my wedding with tears streaming down my face.

Good (bleep). NES themes for sure. Anything that reminds me of being a kid again or reminds me of my 1 1/2 year old.

I'm glad you said, because I thought it too!

I mean, Hootie? Hoobstank? What?!

I song that makes my lip quiver, not a full cry, but just a shaking of the bottom lip, is "Fancy" by artist Iggy Azalea.

Maybe he's a Dolphins fan.

Lennon sometimes makes me misty. Partly because it was a crying shame what happened to him, but also the combination of his brilliance and emotional rawness. Julia is a beautiful one, an almost pitiful (without the bad connotation) call out to his mother's ethereal presence.

Suzanne by Leonard Cohen is a ridiculously beautiful song.

Good ol' Doc.

On a movie tangent, I love Salieri's pained appreciations of Mozart's music that he plays in his head in Amadeus. Best parts of that movie. Amadeus' music was timelessly brilliant as all of us patron saints of mediocrity know. I also like DEA Stansfield's (The Professional) diatribe on Beethoven and Mozart. "I LOOOOVE Mozart, but for this kinda work, he's a little light."
