He's the guy that gave us shows like Mod Squad, Charmed, Dynasty, and a slew of others who's names I've forgotten he was a well known producer

You would also know him as Tori Spelling's father. Tori was on 90210 another Spelling production.

A (bleep) legend. Loved 90210, Melrose, and 7th Heaven. (hey, I was a little kid and forced to watch it)

To borrow from lakersfreak's list, let us thank the now-departed Aaron Spelling for:

Starsky and Hutch -- one of the sweetest TV cars ever.

Family -- eh, never into the show.

Hotel -- eh, not so much this one, either.

Charlie's Angels -- Cheryl Ladd driving a blue and white Mustang Cobra. Awesome.

The Love Boat -- Loads of gratutitous poolside bikini shots every Saturday on prime-time.

Vegas -- For introducing the world to the everyman coolness that was Robert Urich. And gratutitous poolside bikini shots.

Hart to Hart -- Eh, old people romance.

Dynasty -- Two words: Heather. Locklear.

The Colbys -- Eh, not so much.

T.J. Hooker -- Again -- heather. Lockelar. And for keeping the almighty Shatner gainfully employed into another TV decade.

Twin Peaks -- Did he really produce this??? If so, oh, where to begin... Madchen Amick. Sherilynn Fenn. Lara Flynn Boyle... when she still had meat on her bones. Heather Graham. Nice call.

Beverly Hills 90210 -- Who cares about Shannen and Aaron's nostrilly-enhanced daughter? Jennie Garth in a bikini. And all those young starlets parading through the show as various girlfirends of Brandon, Dylan, Steve and even that tool David. Thank you, Mr. Spelling.

Melrose Place -- OK, Heather Locklear was wearing thin. But all the other chicks were hot in various degrees.

7th Heaven -- Eh...

Charmed -- For giving FHM and Maxim a reason to keep putting Alyssa Milano in Hot 100 lists every year. You know, beyond the obvious ones.

MIM

Just fyi, Aaron's company financed and held international distribution rights to Twin Peaks, but he was not involved creatively.

I was very sad, considering my favorite shows in the world were produced by Spelling.

RIP
