Fantastic pick, this kid is a stud and I like his attitude and heart also.
You can also tell he is not an idiot, the guy speaks and handles himself very well.
Gordon was my first choice, Randle was my second. Very happy we didn't end up with Vonleh or Smart. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

If West was the GM no way is Randle and not Stauskas a Laker right now. Boring conventional pick IMO. |

can he grow longer arms too? |
no , but he can reduce the amount of good contests on his in the paint shots. w/ his off the dribble game , coupled with nba floor spacing and less double teams. |

Offensively he's good so i'd like us to pick up a defensive center
He reminds me of paul milsap or z-bo
Double double machine
We need a point guard
The celtics drafted a point guard i wonder if theyre gonna trade rondo and what it would take to trade for him
I hope we get rid of nash |

Mike Greenberg @Espngreeny
I'm no scout. But the only lock in this draft, to me, is Julius Randle. #Lakers #Kentucky
Even though he never played basketball, I complete agree we got a steal. |

Randle can end up being the best player in this draft. This guy drives to the basket LeBron-esque in terms of power and ball-handling for his size. Just wait until he develops his passing. He dominated college bball being on the most hyped team ever while double/triple-teamed. His jumper will come around. |

Randle was a great pick. Now all we have to do is sign a PG like Lowry in FA. |

The Lakers just got a very good pick for a #7 pick. We're lucky. Glad this was a deep draft. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest |

YOU BETTER BE GOOD YOU SON OF A (bleep)!
I wanted Smart SO BAD! I picked Randle to be bust because he's undersized, can't shoot worth a lick, turn over prone, can only go left...
I (bleep) hate hate hate the Celtics. (bleep) I (bleep) hate them. Smart is gonna be a star and We're stuck with a bonfide bust.
Randle, you better prove me wrong. You better (bleep) prove me wrong.
I want at least a 15/10 season from him. He's supposed to be the 2nd most nba ready player in the draft so he better prove it damn it.
You get 15/10 this season, you will prove me wrong. Otherwise...(bleep)! |

His wingspan seems to be a major concern for some.
According to this one article, he is among last in wingspan when compared to NBA starting power forwards. |

6'9 is perfectly fine for a PF.
and btw people his arms are as long as KLove , similar to Blake Griffin's too. |
