A young frontcourt of 25, 19, 24 in Parsons, Randle, Monroe... I'd love to see it. Also if Parsons ultimately went back to the Rockets... there would be the added bonus of the Lakers making the Rockets pay a ton...
But it'd be a nice young core... With room to eventually add a potential superstar down the road. _________________ How can I get a copy of a Laker game played on Sunday, March 11, 2001 Sonics/Lakers? If you know PM me please
I would be willing to pay you for it.

Offensively it'd be a damn good tandem. On defense though? |

Melo and Stephenson (if LBJ isn't going to visit). It's going to be a tough task chasing the top RFA's. Both Monroe and Parsons would be hard to sign. If you can pull it off, you'd want some nice perimeter defenders at 1 and 3 both really. |

Lowry & Monroe & Ariza
C = Monroe
PF = Randle
SF = Ariza
SG = Kobe
PG = Lowry

I like this lineup but sub Pau with Monroe. I think Kobe wants the chemistry. Ariza and Kobe are good friends nd Lowry seems to be a good teammate. This lineup in the triangle could work. |

If I were the lakers I would offer 2 1st round picks to get Rid of sacre and nash and then I would offer bledsoe parson and Monroe 12-13 a piece their teams probably won't match and you got yourself a mean starting 5
Bledsoe
Kobe
Parsons
Randle
Monroe
I think that's a playoff team that if they gel and depending on how good Randle is could make some noise |

Want Bledsoe/Parsons. Attainable. Great trade pieces if necessary. Fields a competitive team.
Lacks strength in the paint. I almost want to run a dual PF setup like Dale Davis and Antonio Davis between PF/C with a great wing lineup. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Bledsoe is a RFA so it'll be tough to woo him out of Phoenix. It might cause too much money. Parsons might be good. Lets see _________________ Check out my stuff:

Stephenson, Isaiah Thomas, +1 other is probably the best the Lakers can do at this point. (assuming no melo, and really if it's melo vs Stephenson, Isaiah Thomas, and one more piece like a Hawes... and let Nash expire... I'd go that route as the Lakers. _________________ How can I get a copy of a Laker game played on Sunday, March 11, 2001 Sonics/Lakers? If you know PM me please

In order of preference
1. Melo/Stephenson
2. Stephenson/Bledsoe
I was about to post a 3rd one when I realized that these are the only 3 players I want out of this free agency. Either one would be absolutely perfect. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts! |
