If the Bulls amnesty Boozer should the Lakers pick him up for a Million or so?

Randle may not be ready to start just yet...

Boozer for the minimum definitely wouldn't hurt.

I'd rather give Randle the PT.

The Lakers are in the rebuilding mode, not looking to be anything but competitive next season, Boozer for the minimum wouldn't hurt.

somebody will give him more than that. Also I rather tank hard (bottom 3 team) than be a mediocre team that still misses the playoffs or swept in 1st round

Am I the only one who thinks the Lakers are doing it right. Building a good second unit, gaining cap space and developing a squad that will be competitive. Gearing up for 2016.

If we make the playoffs, fine, if not lets be competitive. If done correctly I think we'll be a contender in 2016.

I trust Mitch, not Jim. Win now is not the way. IMHO

I don't mind him but we are in need of a center badly.

but we'd be a much stronger contender with a top 5 pick in 2015.

That's my point 2015 is another wash year. We're not going to get another top five unless the basketball gods smile on us. We have a first round with the Lin acquisition. If we can do better I think Mitch will find a way. Being a armchair GM I think the plan is to build a great core of steady players to go with, hopefully, the true intent being to build a contender in 2016. Competitive in 2015, contender in 2016.

I would sign him because Randall has had foot issues so just for insurance alone. He is undersize but he has plenty of experience playing the center position.

Boozer can help teach Randle some in and outs of the game. Boozer used to be on hell of a rebounder.
