would the Lakers consider taking a risk on Bynum?

Take a risk on what? The dude can barely walk let alone play a meaningful game of basketball.

Pack another bowl and maybe we can talk about signing Kareem at the minimum, too,

Last time I checked, once the knees are shot they stay shot.

Last time I check you need knees to play ball too
I think a lot of people haven't seen Bynum today and in their minds see the old Bynum.
No secret he failed every where he went. Rather the Lakers time for young players.

People, Bynum is done son.

Should work about as well as the Odom reclamation project.

Bynum's knees gave out because of too many basketball injuries. Odom's head gave out because a fat cow sat on it. Close enough.

I'm not sure he's a good bet even at minimum salary. Not after what he pulled during practices with the Cavs that got him suspended, deliberately screwing up team chemistry, ignoring the coach, and breaking plays by jacking up half-court shots during practice just for fun.

OK...Bynum taking the year off to get Kobe's Knee procedure is a good plan.
We'll see how he is next season.

Next on the list is Oden....Do it Mitch!

I wish that dude luck. He still seems willing to work to try to stay in the league.
