Hi Guys,

Going to see the crue on Monday and was trying to avoid the Bowl parking. I haven't been there in years so can anyone give me some tips on where I can park near by and maybe take a shuttle.

Unless you live local, the shuttle is your friend. Ticketmaster is not your friend but will hook you up with the shuttle tickets.

Bye.

There are several shuttle lots, the largest being in Universal City just over the Cahuenga pass. This is the best option if you'd rather not pay the $20 for parking.

It's also a great option because it means that I will most likely have a parking spot when I get home.

Nothing infuriates me more than having to battle Bowl goers for parking in front of MY own home.

I've almost scrapped a few times when I get home and have to battle for a parking spot that someone is about to back into.

They get mad, but I always tell them that I am a resident and that if they are too cheap to pay for parking, it's not my problem.

Then I calm down and direct them to the shuttle lot.

There's a structure at Hollywood & Sycamore that is $8 flat rate all night, and serves the LA Fitness/Fresh & Easy shopping center. It's a block away from Hollywood & Highland and is surprisingly low-traffic and relatively easy to get to and exit. After you park you have an enjoyable 1/3 mile walk up to the Bowl, passing, if you choose, all of the craziness in front of Grauman's / Dolby Theater / Hollywood & Highland center. Or, just skip it all by walking north on Sycamore or Orange and then take a right on Franklin until you hit Highland.

There's also a Church on Highland/Franklin that sometimes charges as low as $10 for non-stack parking. It's a little closer to the Bowl but you have to somehow end up going south on Highland during primetime which is a pain in the ass. Anything north of that lot is >=$20 and/or stack parking. Have fun!

Bye.
