While I don't think that players should wear them during games; I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
The players are the ones that need to stand up for themselves through the players union. If they don't think it's a big enough deal to make a big issue about then I'm not going to worry about it. |

I like the black. Could do without the sleeves. _________________ Music is my medicine |

Another ridiculous jersey. Don't but this piece of crap.
I miss the time when the Lakers had only PURPLE and GOLD jerseys. |

I actually like the sleeved jersey look, although I'm not a fan of black as part of Laker colors. Laker colors were always supposed to be purple and gold. Don't love the white Sunday jersey, don't like the black ones. We should stick to the classic purple/gold or heavy gold/light purple look. It's always been the best. Even the sleeved jerseys IMO would look real nice in gold. It's a similar color to that of GST Warriors, and I liked their sleeved jersey. |

Yeah. Gold looks nice.
I don't own any "Hollywood Night" jerseys. They look nice, but I would rather get something that is more obviously "Lakers". Though I do like the Sunday whites. Maybe because white seems like a blank canvas with the Lakers colors on it. Black seems like a color on its own. |

Agreed, home golds are the best. I'd have to see these sleeved black ones in person, but I think they look cool as an alternate. The Sunday whites need to go though... |

Right - can't we just have the black jersey available for purchase without wearing them at staples and having other teams wear their home uniforms on our floor?
I wouldn't mind the black so much if it was only worn on the road (like the Brooklyn game last year), but wearing them at home not only costs us a game in our unique gold jerseys, it also allows the other to look like the home team on our floor.
The Lakers played at home last year and wore something other than gold almost 25% of the time. Talk about watering down the brand. |

I like the sleeved jerseys...
I think the next great NBA idea would involve visiting teams playing shirtless in the games... _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. I agree it's great for fans to wear on the street or to games. Wearing traditional basketball outside in the street (tank top) is just too awkward (even with a t shirt underneath), this is a great way for a fan to show support for their teams.
But players should not wear them at all.
Normally for me being the compromising person I am, I would voice my opinion by saying once a year or whatever but as others said commish silver is taking intermediary steps to eventually "soccerize" basketball jerseys with ads and shameless logo splattered all over. |

Sweet, more clothing items that make it easier to mark people whose existences should be dismissed entirely. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/
