I could see Linsanity pushing Lin's ppg average up. Maybe he'll be our 2nd leading scorer (behind Kobe) at seasons end.

Maybe Boozer in the pick and pop will be extremely effective. That could mean 18 ppg average for Boozer.

Nick Young can put it up. He was our leading scorer last year. Maybe he'll be our 2nd scoring punch behind Kobe.

Who will be our 2nd leading scorer or our 2nd option? Kobe can only score 25-30 ppg best case scenario.

I think it's either going to be Lin or Boozer. I can see P&R madness going on, and it will largely depend on how the defense commits to.

I think Lin, just because Randle Hill and Davis will all vie for minutes from Boozer.

Think of Lin's competition...

Mr Glass from Unbreakable
and a rookie who coming out of college was known as turnover prone and not the greatest of defenders.

True. Out of the list in the poll, Lin is likely playing the most minutes.

I think it will be Young. He is a natural scorer and if he is getting 25-30 minutes a game, he'll average at least 15ppg.

I think Byron knows JLin's strengths and will exploit it to the max. LAnsanity 2.0.

"I like Jeremy, I really do. I think he’s a kid that plays the right way [and] plays extremely hard. He seems to always be in attack mode offensively. [He] pushes the ball up the floor as well as anybody in the league. Defensively – the thing that I thought was going to his biggest downfall – was something that I thought he really competed at the times I coached against him."

Boozer isn't really a big time scorer. The most he could give you is probly 20 pts in a single game. I think Randle has a better offensive game than Boozer. If Randle shows some confidence in his jumpshot, he'll be an unstoppable force. If Randle is the 2nd option, he'll put up some great numbers for sure.

probably lin, when he scores a lot he usually has good efficiency and game in general, im worried about a team with swaggy p was ur primary or even 2nd scorer, honestly i hate his style of play, like kobe without the skills

If Nick Young gets his 26-30 minutes, he'll be the #2 scorer......but the Laker fan in me is hoping it's Randle that emerges as the clear #2.

I'm pretty sure we're all hoping for that.

with the health of kobe and especially nash in question i think it will be JLin or boozer. if kobe goes down or scott decides to conserve him a la pop conserving duncan, then expect to see a lot of JL-booze pick n roll as the bread n butter. swaggy can go off on any given night but with the return of kobe his usage rate will go down.

1. Kobe
2. Young
3. Lin
4. Boozer
5. Henry

Henry will surprise many people, I really want him to start and get 24-30 min a night. I like his defense and the way he attacks. He can be a star in this league, he's 23 years old. He's growing and he's a long term guy, he just needs to practice consistency and stay healthy.

I have no doubt that Lin will be the leading scorer during absence of Kobe. Lin always averages 20+ during absence of Melo or Harden.

When Kobe is in, it is hard to tell which one between Yonung, Lin and Boozer will be the 2nd scorer.

Toss up between Lin and Young. I think Young takes less shots this year due to us having a somewhat decent roster this year

If Kobe is healthy and plays 70+ games, I think it goes something like this next year

Kobe 23/5
Boozer 13/8
Lin 12/5
Young 12
Randle 11/7
Hill 9/7

Basically no real defined 2nd option, it'll be Lin on some nights, Booz on others, Young, Randle etc. all get a crack.

I also would guess that he slows down the offense a bit from D'Antoni pace, and that will hurt everyone's stats, but I could be wrong on that one.

Agreed. Though I think Young and Lin's numbers will be a bit better

It's time for a breakout year for Linsanity 2.0

Boozer will be solid, but sharing mins with 30 other PFs on the team.

Swaggy will get his still, but definitely less than last year since Kobe is back.

Expecting 17 PPG for Lin

14 PPG for Boozer

16 PPG for Swaggy P

A lot players need to step up for Kobe to rest, Kobe will still get about 22 PPG in around 30-34 minutes.

Yeah, I'm hoping Byron Scott can monitor Kobe's minutes like Pop does with his aging stars. That way the Lakers can milk Kobe for all he has left in the tank and conserve and hopefully keep him fresh for the post-season (long shot as it may be to make the playoffs).

I'm going with Young, like Crawford Young's job is to only score. Lin will get his points but he also has to set up teammates. I'll rank them, players that will be in the rotation.

Kobe 23/5/4
Young 15/3/3
Lin 14/7/4
Hill 9/11
Boozer 9/7
Randle 8/7
Nash 7/6
Wes 6
Davis 5

If Byron brings the Princeton offense whoever plays the forward spots should score the most

I envision at least 5 players averaging in double digits -- more balanced.

I agree with Young being the 2nd option but I would include Henry in the rotation.

They would have to utilize everyone if they want Kobe and Nash to make it thru the whole season.
