I never liked his comedy stuff, but I thought as a dramatic actor he was really good (Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting).

Man... hate to hear stuff like this.

Such a shame when someone has so much going for them and they have all the worldly things that someone would want, but they're still miserable enough to end it all.

Puts things in perspective. Having stuff... fame, fortune, etc... isn't everything.

It just seems that comedians, in general, have tortured souls. Combine that with problems with addiction, this is what you commonly get. So freaking sad.

He seemed to have a lot of demons. Never really paid attention but glancing over articles from last year. He battled drugs and alcohol...had several divorces that absolutely shredded the guy financially.

Last guy I could fathom committing suicide.
