He should be the target for the Lakers, he's the most versatile big man available that the team might be able to get, plus he's unrestriced. We could offer him a 1/2 year deal and hope to give him more security after he's proven he can perform.

This kid has game, he just needs proper mentoring and motivation. He can be a versatile 5 for us something like Pau but more athletic. With Davis backing him up it gives us a solid foundation.

I say we get him and Evan Turner and call it an off-season. Playoffs here we come! LOL

Lin
Kobe
Turner
Boozer/Randle
Blatche

Do it Mitch!

Lakers don't need any more big men or point guards,

Could use a an SG/SF or swingman...

I think the Lakers are done getting players... Maybe one more scrub to the mix but that's all. Even Beasley would surprise me at this point.

It's obvious there are some glaring holes on this team and the Xinjiang Flying Tigers might have two prospects that should intrigue the Lakers FO. They are Jamal Crawford at the PG spot and Andray Blatche as our 5, even thought he's more of a PF he could easily play the 5 for us, he's 7'0 and very athletic.
I believe they're both on 1 year deals that more than likely could be bought out. This idea would make us really deep, young and athletic we could also look to the future with this lineup and possibility of resigning Earl Clark would solidify us at each position for the rest of the season. We would have a solid bench unit with the addition of these players and as well as more size in the starting five.

Here's my lineups and rotations:

PG-J.Lin/J.Crawford/R.Price
SG- Kobe/Wayne Ellington/J.Clarkson
SF- E.Clark/SwaggyP/W.Johnson
PF- J.Hill/Boozer
C-ABlatche/E.Davis/Sacre

Players Waived: Xavier Henry and Ryan Kelly (Might stay due to injury)
Players Injured: Steve Nash, Julius Randle
Possible Trade Bait: Steve Nash

With the injury exception we could keep 16 players, but my guess would be to trade Nash and his contract for basically nothing...

I don't think that a black hole like Blatche would be welcome with this team.
