Wouldn't shock me if she took over when Pop retires. Spurs always think outside the box. Best ran organization in sports.

(bleep) that. Lately they have been just lucky. Who would have thought a 2nd round guard from Argentina and late draft pf from Cali would be this good. I don't care how good ur scouts are they can't predict this

Even though they haven't won a title in seven years, they were always in contention. That's all you want; a chance at the title. They've had that chance every year for like 16 straight years. You can't be lucky when they constantly draft late in the first round and always seem to find a jewel. If it was luck, it should happen to a few of the other 29 squads but it doesn't.

Dragić, Splitter, Udrih, Barbosa, Leonard, Scola, Salmons, Blair, Parker and Ginobili. They've missed on picks more than they've hit but they have hit on many good player especially from where they select. That's not luck. And if it is, slide some to the Lakers.

I am the boss with both line employees and middle management employees. I generally hire women because I feel they have more work ethic and dedication than men. There ability to multi task and organize Is phenomenal. I hardly hired any male employees In 3 years I have been at this company. I have fired most of the existing male employees on attendance issues. Especially at the line level.

However I have hired a couple of gay male employees and even promoted one gay male and one female to supervisory positions

Wow. Do you hire Asians to do your match too? Sheesh.

Match? Nope I do not hire based on race that would be racism. I always look for the person that hungry for the job

I find it odd that those who cry in the name of equality, aren't bashing you as a sexist and bigot. Where are you guys?

maybe because im not sexist or a bigot

If you said you generally hire white men, or generally hire straight people, the outrage would be coming out in full force.

But instead you said you generally hire women, and I've not seen one woman or man take issue with that. It just proves true that people only protest bigotry when it is convenient and self-serving to do so.

it also happens to be fact that women and gays have been discriminated against for the last 100+ years or so. so no I don't think they would have a problem with that

But any discrimination is wrong, isn't it? Or is some discrimination more acceptable?

All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.

You should read the disgusting threads on FB.

I'll be honest, I expected better from LG. Pretty disgraceful, and I say that as regular guy, not just as a husband and father to a 13 year old daughter. Is this the type of world I am raising my daughter to enter?

Not all guys think like this, and some are quite pleased that a woman is getting a chance to break this barrier.

I'm not surprised at all. I often see those types of comments from men on the internet. The only thing surprising to me about this thread is the fact that people actually got criticized for those comments. What usually happens online is men will make certain comments about women, and everyone in the thread will seem okay with that.

And yes this is the type of world you're raising your daughter to enter. Isn't that obvious?

A sports forum has posters commenting on a woman's looks? I'm shocked I tell you I'm shocked by this outrage.

Not just commenting on a woman's looks, but how that will affect her ability to do a good job in a profession where women have essentially zero opportunity.

I'm sorry, this must be a time warp....but are we living in the 1950s? Or is the mental midget quotient in here approaching stratospheric levels of airheadedness?

Why should we expect different attitudes in the 1950's? I live in Vegas and its a town with tons of strip clubs, prostitutes, showgirls, gogo dancers, cocktail waitresses wearing almost nothing, women going out to nightclubs wearing almost nothing, escort cards are handed out in the streets every day, large vehicles will drive by portraying certain female body parts while they promote prostitution, and I've seen/heard comments from tons of guys that enjoy that stuff.

And of course there is Internet pornography which will certainly be even more popular than all the stuff I just mentioned and which any guy can easily access in any part of the country. How many guys in the 1950's looked at pornography online? How many looked for escorts online?

the silent majority doesn't care to complain either way, the vocal minority is almost always self serving. It's pretty much axiomatic at this point.
