A shooting instructor was accidentally shot and killed while showing a 9-year-old girl how to use an automatic Uzi. Mohave County sheriff’s officials say the instructor, Charles Vacca, 39, was standing next to the girl on Monday when she pulled the trigger and the recoil sent the gun over her head at Last Stop shooting range in White Hills.

What the hell? Why? I'm not against people learning how to use guns, but a 9 year old? And an automatic uzi? She shouldn't be anywhere near a weapon like that until she's at least 16 (if then), now a man is dead and a child is probably traumatized. She's probably stuck with parents so stunted that they won't get her the help she probably needs now. How the (bleep) is this legal? It's child abuse.

I heard the instructor was in a hoodie acting suspiciously, and the 9 year old girl was part of the neighborhood watch. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

That poor kid.
The instructor is gone, feel for his loved ones, but he's past caring.
But that little girl has to live with this for the rest of her life.
What the heck were her parents thinking? _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman
That show is one of my guilty pleasures. I like to hear their reasons for why they think the world is ending very soon. I don't think anyone has said zombies yet, but it would make as much sense as teaching your 9 year old to shoot an uzi.

Gun nut didn't get what he deserved, but he got what he was asking for. Really, teaching a 9 y.o. to shoot a gun that could mow down scores of people? Maybe he did get what he deserved. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

I would be scared to death to even hold one. And I know how to take out grown men easily with my hands, knees elbows etc....Just shear lunacy. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

Waiting for the NRA to make a statement blaming the incident on violent video games and tv.
Next time someone tells me, "Guns don't kill people, people kill people". I will send them this link. That 9 year old doesn't look like a cold-hearted killer to me. The saying should be, "Guns don't murder people, but manslaughter is a different story".
What practical purpose does an American citizen need an uzi for? Besides killing other people at an accelerated rate. I hope no bullied school kid gets his hands on that weapon. Considering a 9 year old girl accidentally killed someone with it, I'm sure an older male with malevolent intentions could do exponentially worse. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Uzis are not for practical purposes. They are for extreme situations.
Like mowing down innocent people in malls and schools? _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

FALSE EQUIVALENCY
Pop quiz. Use the following words to fill in the blanks in a way that makes the most sense:
car
gun
"To get to my job I used my _______ to travel 75 miles in 70 minutes!"
"My 9 year old daughter was holding a ______ when it did what it was specifically designed for: putting a hole in a guy's brain." _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

Another pop quiz:
Liberal Democrat Ted Kennedy killed an innocent woman with:
A) a gun
B) a car
C) his charm
Big head Ted misused his car which ultimately ended with the result usually associated with the primary function of a gun...that's the connection you're going for, right? _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

I wouldn't let my kids near an uzi, but wasn't this at a "controlled site" with instructors? Obviously a massive failure in terms of common sense but it wasn't as if the kid was playing around with an uzi. Bad idea gone tragic. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
