The Adidas Barricade series worn by Andy Murray are MUCH better looking. |

Barricades are clunky as (bleep) and do not feel good on the court at all. They're like tanks on your feet. Oscillates look great casually as do any other athletic shoe...it's a shame that Nike doesn't warranty them anymore because as a tennis player I love to use & abuse those warranty cards. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

I haven't tried the Oscillates, but I love my Barricades. I've worn 3 variations of them at this point. I couldn't agree less with the "clunky" description. They may feel stiff when I hold them in my hand, but on the court they feel light, and more importantly, sure footed. With other shoes I've worn, my feet swim around when I plant for a shot or change direction. I used to worry about rolled ankles etc. in other shoes. AND, I've taken advantage of the warranty, which so far Adidas has been pretty liberal with in regards to replacements. I used to get sore feet when I'd play a lot because of all the activity. But once I started wearing the Adidas, my feet haven't been sore at all. |
