I'm switching from IPhone 4S to Samsung Galaxy S4.

One question though. Can I get any scan disk or does the SD card that is specifically for the S4?

Because the most I could for the ones that are specifically for the S4 were 64gb. And I could find ones that were 128+GB for the normal scan disk.

I hope you can you use regular scan disks cards.

Is it possible to have 2 SD cards that are both 128gbs or can you just have 1 SD card?

I'm guessing just one?

i went from iphone 5 to galaxt s5.

good phone, but it feels very buggy at times. I've updated and everything and its still quite buggy.. Seems to struggle at times and apps crash like no ones business, i had to restart my phone like 9 times in one day lol.. i ended up just deleting the app that kept failing.

Also - Expect delays in group messages - has been a constant problem for me.

The batter was great the first month. Has been absolutely terrible after. I went to sleep with 45% once, woke up and my alarm had not gone off because the battery had died. I tried to figure it out, but i cant see what it is.. either way, i lose 20%-30% of my battery overnight just by having the phone sit idle..

Camera is amazing. No complains.

Vdeo is amazing as well.

Amazing screen.

I will eventually switch back to the iphone 6... would have to be the iphone 6 plus, this galaxy screen is just too amazing to go back to my old days lol

You can have as many as you want, but you can only plug one in.

That's the highest for microSD right now. Regular SD is up to 256, so maybe a year from now we'll see micro and 128 will drop down to <$50.

Pretty amazing to think 256GB on something the size of a fingernail, I still remember the days of 500MB hard disks.

Have you thought about rooting it? I had a cfw for the galaxy s3 which gave me ~24 hours of use. There's probably one similar for the s5

I used to have that issue with my iPhone. It turned out that my LTE coverage was spotty around my house, so my phone would constantly connect to LTE and then lose it and then connect again and then lose it. So it was constantly handshaking all night, which drained the battery fast. So I ended up turning off LTE at home and my battery stopped draining so quickly.

I have owned 3 different samsung. Currently have the note 3. Be forewarned that gps really sucks on all Samsung products. Battery drainer and sometimes loses gps. Never had a problem with directions with HTC or iPhone 4

After reading more reviews on the Galaxy S4 I'm gonna go with HTC One M8. How's the GPS on it? Is it turn by turn voice directions.

I know everything on the HTC is great except for the camera. The camera isn't that bad though.

SanDisk just announced a 512MB SD card so maybe 256MB microSD isn't as far off as I thought. It doesn't seem like 128GB microSD has been around that long.

Check the phone spec. Some phones can only support external storage up to a limit, so getting the biggest card may be a waste.

In the specs on phone arena it says 128gb for both the HTC One & S4 & 5.

It took ages between the announcement of the 128gb and the actual release of it came out so I think anyone purchasing one should be safe until year's end at absolute minimum. The fact that Sandisk is STILL the only company making them 3-4 months after the initial release is a good tell.

    Have you disabled S-voice?

    http://www.androidcentral.com/galaxy-s5-launch-day-tip-disable-s-voice-shortcut-faster-home-button-response

Not sure about the battery, my Note 2 lasts the whole day. Possibly turn off bluetooth, some of the extra features and turn down your screen brightness.

I have the m8 and my only complaint is that they did away with the Google GPS, now I'm forced to use the At&t navigation and it's terrible.
