I'm just happy to see a Laker rookie appear on the cover of anything. |

I like how Julius Randle is holding the ball like Kobe, and how he's the only one wearing a home jersey in the picture. |

That '96 class was just crazy. Top 5 player of all time in Kobe, 2X MVP in Nash, MVP and crazy ass scorer HOF'er in AI, Perhaps best shooter of all time in Jesus Shuttlesworth and 7 other all stars. Wow. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

3 top draft classes are MJ/Hakeem's, 1996 and 2003. Would be a great debate about which is the best one. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

'84's tough to beat. Arguably 2 top 5 players ever in MJ/Hakeem, and another 2 top 20 in Barkley/Stockton. Incredible. |

it's tough. Talent up top v. depth.
1984
4 HOF, 7 all stars. 1 Top 5 type player, 1 top 10 type player in Hakeem, 1 top 20 type player in Charles.
1996
4 likely HOF, 11 all stars. 1 top 5 type player , 1 top 20 type player in Iverson,
2003
4 likely HOF, 8 all stars, 1 top 5 type player, 2 top 20 type players in Wade and 'Melo
I'm going to give the slight edge to 1996 because of number of all stars but to be honest, you could fit the difference between the classes under a small blanket. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

I said top 5 type. And LBJ is that for sure. I think there are about 7 or 8 top 5 type players
Wilt
KAJ
Bird
Magic
LBJ
Kobe

I think if Melo/Wade/Iverson are considered top 20 "type" players, it's fair to put Nash in that category too. |

Can agree with this. 2-5 in Finals. One beating the inexperienced Thunder in a lockout year and the other off a Ray Allen miracle. Would expect more teaming up with two other top 20 players in a extremely weak conference, where you're playing the forsaken Bucks or Gastly Sixers in the first second rounds.
