Just saw Julius at the beverly Wilshire. All I gotta say is the guy is freaking huge. I felt like a midget next to him and I'm 6'3. Looks like he's not wasting anytime though, he was buying jewelry. That pay check must have came in already lol
Did you say what's up to him?
And tell him all future sightings with fans must occur at whole foods. Rookies smh

I just said "Julius!" And pointed to him. He just said what up and he walked to the bathroom lol
Kobe's stats from his first 2 seasons (really good from my point of view especially when you consider that he only started 7 games during that period)
'96-'97 & '97-'98:
If Randle & or Clarkson can give us this type of production we will be on our way back to the top:
GP GS MIN FGM-A FG% 3PM-A 3P% FTM-A FT% OR DR REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS

His shot isn't as far away as some believe and his handles are great for a big but does anyone else think his conditioning might be an issue? He seems to get winded pretty easily. I noticed this at Kentucky also.

Sure, conditioning might be an issue, but the clip you chose was from two years ago. I wouldn't base anything on that.
He's been getting a lot of professional training this summer. He'll be in decent shape, probably will hit a rookie wall at some point, and then will be more prepared for his sophomore year.

Randle specifically mentioned that he noticed that his conditioning was good especially in summer league. If your read a couple of the posts before yours and click the link. He gave his summer league performance a D because he knew he could give more effort if he had better conditioning. That is what he has been working on for the past month and a half.

Could be the drill, but he only drove left. Just like..... ohh, never mind. _________________ .

omg. that's a really elite move. seeing him do it really reminds me of Lamar.
Except that Randle is looking to use his 250lbs to bounce his man back and dunk on him - whereas LO would try to avoid contact and try to finesse/finger roll (which would always seem to roll out).
Impressive.
Most impressive.
More than his handles (which appear to be quite sick), I'm most looking forward to watching Randle's passing/playmaking. From what I've seen/read so far, he really enjoys passing. Passing seems to be part of his "BBall DNA."
If he can truly balance out his scoring abilities with his playmaking skills, he could turn into a special player. _________________ Everything. Changes.

I remember seeing an article which had Coach K talking about how Randle's most impressive and dominating skill is his passing. (talking about when Coach K coached him for a U18 USA thing or something)

His excellent passing skills were on display during the Summer League.

Indeed. I think most who researched Randle knew that he had that type of skillset. He played a lot of point forward in high-school with his handles and playmaking skills on full display. I love that Calipari mainly used JR as a low-post scorer. This only expanded his overall game. His jumper is a work in progress, but the mechanics and works ethic is all there. I have no doubt he'll improve his perimeter shooting. I, too, think he's a special type of player. The fact that he has a good head on his shoulders and seems to be a hard worker is a huge bonus. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.
