Hearing that Wizards, as expected, are finalizing a training-camp contract today for David Stockton ... son of Jazz legend John Stockton

Sort of a crazy signing... He wasn't even a starter at GU. He was the 6th man.

Utah I could sort of see doing this... But the Wiz? Not sure what they see beyond the last name.

Maybe they _can_ see beyond the last name?

The Wizards cut Kendall Marshall and traded away Clarkson to us. Both are better point guards than Stockton's son.

Not saying he's going to be anything like his dad, but it's uncanny how similarly they play the position.

See my forum name. I know what I'm talking about with GU.

Actually I was pretty much spot on about Turiaf, Morrison, and Sacre's careers.

My Turiaf prediction I believe was under my old forum name... But Morrison I warned was a bust (He was a smoker in college, didn't take care of his body - I'm not sure how the bobcats didn't find this out - it was well known on campus)... Sacre... I pretty much called what his careers been so far... Turiaf as well.

Stockton is probably not even DLeague worthy. Borderline.

Pangos was better than him by leaps and bounds (the guy who started in front of him). There wasn't even a position debate on the matter. If he's the clear cut #2 of the GU backcourt... an NBA backcourt? Please. (and Pangos is only Dleague quality.)
