Kobe watching happens because we are playing too many guys who can't shoot 3s or create their own shot.

The ideal starting lineup is:

Price
Young
Kobe
Boozer
Davis

second team:

Lin
Clarkson
Johnson
Randle
Hill

Is there any active NBA player today, whose teammates do more standing around and watching then Kobe's teammates always seem to do?

Who would be the next closest?

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

So this must be by design knowing that Kobe is the consummate professional one who's always seeking an edge on his opponents.

It seems unfathomable that his teammates cannot be taught to cut etc. when Kobe has the ball. They are professionals. They watch film. They practice.

So if they mess it up once, ok can live with that. But the whole game? Two games? Every game? Seems like it is by design.

Lakers 19.4 assists per game...
Cavs 16.0 assists per game...

Just some pseudo positive note

it has nothing to do with personnel as this has been going on for years. it's a byproduct of running so many isos. players lose interest and will not move. try it in a pickup game (which is basically our offense), same thing happens.

but but but lebron = ball movement. Right?

Players just have to stay active at all times. No matter who has the ball and what play is being run. It's basic basketball.
