We still need Boozer's presence... he's the only guaranteed big-man that can give us 20 a night... we need to establish our front-court... and give everyone there minutes... although it would be tough... that's why a trade seems inevitable right now.

The amount of whining by the Raptor fans on, the Raps management letting Davis go... is truly funny... they thought he was playing like a Al Horford-lite at one point when he was with the Raptors.... he was just starting to average over 10PPG when they traded Davis..... can't wait to see how this guy develops with true leaders on the court.

If Ed Davis is not a starter by Christmas I'm going to consider Byron a bad coach.
But I have faith that Byron will see what I see in Davis.
I think Davis is going to be the key to a playoff birth, he needs at least 30 minutes a game.
really?
In his defense, he did say around "Christmas."
Yeah, but who's having a baby?
We need Dwight in order to have a playoff birth.
Haha, yeah. Dwight's all about playoff births, regular season births, off-season births, etc. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

We need to hurry up and play Davis and Randle a ton of minutes.
Agree about Davis disagree with randle. He is too inexperienced and raw out there.
And Davis has never played a ton of minutes so I don't think playing him a lot now would be a good idea. I love his defense, the Suns were short-arming everything in the paint in the 4th last night after a couple of Davis blocks. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
If Davis can give us 10RPG with 3-4BPG in 20-25M I would consider it a success... whatever he gets from offense is gravy.
Those are close to DPOY stats...
Much more realistic this season would be something like 12/8/2.5 . He's not going to get minutes in the mid 30's unless we trade Hill. _________________ You are either in or on your way to the NBA Finals.

3-4 BPG will definitely put him in the DPOY running. It's probably not every season that we have a player average 3 blocks or higher. I'd guess that it's about 50/50.
That being said, I don't think over 3 blocks a game will be attainable if he's not playing 30+, which like Rawr stated probably won't happen with all the other bigs we have to give minutes to.
