You need to remind Sacre that he is not a shooting guard - he is shooting every ball possession he gets. _________________ A proud member of LakersGround.net for over 10 years [since April 28, 2001]
Is this a serious question? I'm not Boozer's biggest fan, but he's way better than Sacre. Sacre makes for a serviceable third string center who works his as off, but he's pretty bad at playing consistently in an NBA setting.
^yup, boozer may be past his prime, but he's still light years ahead of Sacre. Shouldn't even be compared. Another question would be who should start at pf? Boozer or Hill? With Davis at the center spot.
Maybe Sacre could use some extra work in the season, I wouldn't mind seeing him help out the Dfenders this year for a while. Tough year ahead for the affiliate: new coach, new players, new PA guy (no more Tanter). Joey Buss has his work cut out for him.
Sacre has worked on his jumper, I will give him that. Otherwise, I see nothing I really like about his game.
He is like many modern day players. He likes to shoot, but he doesn't seem too interested in the other aspects of the game, and unfortunately for him (and the team), the other aspects are where he could help this team the most if he chose to apply himself more.
He is more active at the offensive end, again because he thinks he might be able to score some points. But at the defensive end he simply doesn't compete hard enough, not even close. He is constantly flat-footed. He doesn't jump, he doesn't fight for position, he doesn't go after every loose ball, the way a role player such as he has a chance to really make his mark on the game.
He's a big strong guy, and he certainly seems pleased with himself when I see him interviewed. But to date his impact out on the floor is negligible at best. Coach Scott would do well to start letting him know that his inattentiveness to the dirty work areas of the game will not earn him time out on the floor.
Robert Sacre is a scrub of the Kwame Brown Order but Boozer isn't a center AT ALL. Jordan Hill isn't a center either. We're basically screwed in the post and at small forward... and at point guard. _________________ Lakers, today. Lakers, tomorrow. Lakers, forever.

Boozer is a former All-Star, albeit far past his prime. Sacre is a D-League scrub. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
