You really think Boozer is in his prime? You understand the definition of prime (the noun) is:

Quote:
a state or time of greatest strength, vigor, or success in a person's life.

Boozer isn't there anymore.

Boozer is something this team needed, interior scoring.

Boozer will teach him how to scream properly after every play

I laughed out loud at this L4E. Thanks ...

If Boozer can play like he did last night, then things might shape up a bit better this year than I thought.

Agreed. It was good to see him be aggressive and look to score inside instead of settling for midrange jumpshots last night.

Boozer's #'s so far in the preseason

15/5/2/ with 2SPG

and I don't think he's fully engaged yet, and he's also not putting up a lot of shots... imagine what he's gonna do when he gets the ball more and the team runs the offense through him.

I think by mid-season, Julius takes his spot in the starting line up. Faster if that mid-range jumper continues to fall for the 19-year old phenom. But I like that we have Booze to start the season. I see 13/6/2.

I think that 13 and 6 is what most people have booz at this year. Part of the reason why most think were gonna struggle this year. We don't have a clear cut legitimate second option. People don't thnk lin is good enough to be that and they damn sure don't think booz is. I'm actually a bit more optimistic myself.

I think booz is gonna play well enough to be that number 2 guy, and lin play well enough to be our number 3, though let's save the lin discussion for another day. I see more of a 17 and 8 year from boozer, something he's definitely capable of. He's gonna compliment kobe really well from the high post and be one of the reasons why we're really gonna surprise people this year.

I see around 13/8, maybe 14/7 for Boozer. He will be taking a lot of long 2 point shots, which is apparently favored in Scott's system. His minutes will go down but unlike Chicago, he will be allowed to hoist those shots again and again to score.

I think Boozer will surprise a lot of people. He'll play a p&r game with Lin and look like a new man.

I think Booz can bounce back this year. I'll be hoping for something like 13/6/3 from him which would be very handy. Keeping expectations fairly low-key for now though

AGREED!

C. Booz is a professional and has been to more than one rodeo; he will come to play tonight.

Not a bad night for Booz. He had the nice run in the third quarter; missed a few chippies throughout the game but was one of the few players who actually stepped up a bit tonight. No complaints here. He's going to have some good nights and bad nights.

He tried but his 17 PTS 7 REBS were not nearly enough.
His defense is what it is, no need to even go there.

It was an airball. You're allowed to grab an airball out of the air

Boozer puts up the stats, but he got outworked by TJones. How in the world is TJones grabbing over 10 rebounds?

Well, it's going to be Kobe and Boozer in terms of scoring it seems. Probably close to 35 shots between the 2 a game.

Boozer is like Hodor without Bran. Am I alone in this assessment? He has decent games but he has never failed to disappear indiscriminately for other teams. Sorry, I'm not optimistic.

Letting Boozer, had nothing to do with his performance... it was strictly money decision.

Not really. It's both. If boozer was playing well they'd keep him. Remember when they amnesty him they still pay his salary. It was a combination of poor play (defense), cap space to chase melo.
